Optimistic about the maturing of the market and after three years on this journey with corporate performance, my vision is that it is not a panacea to work with Blockchain and build the infrastructure for new business models. However, the use of DLT Distributed Ledger Technologies, a category in which Blockchain belongs according to the World Economic Forum, is starting a more mature phase.
Two years ago, anyone could pass for a Blockchain expert without running or seeing a single piece of code. Blockchain experts for businesses appeared as “pop-ups” in the 2000s, with no projects built or even a real business PoC to effectively assess the platforms’ potential.
