ABBC & BBCHAIN 

ABBC - Brazilian Association of Banks, participates in the Central Bank's pilot phase for testing Drex. In partnership with BBChain, which provides the basis for easy access to new technology, through a friendly and customized Sand Box platform for ABBC and all consortium participants. With this initiative, ABBC enables its members who are members of the Consortium to also participate in the pilot phase of the project, in BACEN's Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) environment.
The consortium, made up of 16 participants, includes large financial institutions such as ABC Brasil, BANRISUL, and PagBank, as well as three technology companies: BBChain, Microsoft and BIP.


ABBC and BBChain - This cooperation highlights the strategic partnership and the search for technological innovations in the banking sector, promoting competitiveness and efficiency in the National Financial System (SFN) .

This year, BBChain was one of the companies supporting the event. Participating in the online panel - Drex | Expectations of use cases and cross-border scenarios - from the first day of the event, debate and exchange of ideas, the expectations around Drex and its main use cases for this new digital currency, as well as addressing possible cross-border scenarios to facilitate trade and global economic integration.

On 11/09/23, Conecta ABBC took place in São Paulo, an inspiring event in the business world that brings innovation and opportunities within the financial market.

BBChain was present as a guest on two fronts at the event. The CEO of BBChain, André Carneiro was invited to speak on the “Tokenization and Drex” panel and gave BBChain the opportunity to expose blockchain technology in practice with our Sandbox product , which allows other companies to experience the DREX digital currency environment even while abroad. from the consortium selected by BACEN, an immersive and educational action where those present were able to interact and understand more about the platform in an interactive display.
